THE END!!!!

So this will likely be the last entry for this blog. I think it is going to be a reflective one. I guess I will follow the questions and answer the questions one by one.

What do you like about blogging?

Actually I really like blogging. I had a personal blog even before I started this. I like sharing my thoughts to whoever that is concerned and it is nice to read back what I had wrote before.

 What you do not like about blogging?

The one thing I don’t like about blogging is the deadline for each week. Sometimes I am force to do it out of duty and because of the deadline.

What have you gained from blogging eg. Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc.

One thing about blogging is that it trains me to be more reflective and not just do the thing for the sake of doing. Apart from that, I learnt to explore lots of other stuff to make my blog nicer for everyone to read.

What do you like about this course?

There are lots of stuff to learn and I really learnt a lot of things.

What you do not like about this course?

Lots of assignments plus unclear instructions!!!!

Lots of technology stuff that makes teaching more easier.

I would like to learn more about traditional way of doing teaching aids too and also how we can use these teaching aids to teach the kids.

Exploring Microsoft Publisher....

This is great exploration and great findings!!!! I love microsoft publisher!!! I didn't know it was this easy creating so many types of document like invites, flyers and etc. I love it!!! I will show you one of my latest work!

I did another Mothers' Day card.

It is folded type of card one! When I made this card, I started to missed my mum so much....

E-book....

This was one project that I really spent lots of time on... I even do the voice recording for this book. It was fun and I didn't know it was this easy to do this thing. Although in the midst there were problem of attaching the file onto it but it was fine after that.

I cannot attach it here so I am just going to print screen for you some of it. Oh... you can ask me for the copy if you are interested in it.

It is about a mother bringing her two children to shop for groceries. The main language focus here is vocabulary of fruits and vegetables.

This was quite a fun thing to do. I explore this using FotoFX. It was not very hard to make the changes and it is great to explore how to crop and then change the shade and put in words and so on...

Now I know how the fans of the celebrity and idol do all these stuff....

Movie day........

This was out of the blue.. I didn't know that we were going to watch all that we had produce. Meaning---- THE VIDEO! I didn't know that our video is going to be watched by everyone...
*Feeling Baffled*

I guess I felt that way because I did not put in any effort for the producing of the video. I am not really good at it and some more my partner was away for Hari Raya. Hence, it explains the laziness to actually come up with something. We watched lots of videos. And the one I love the most is the one on friendship and it was all photos from our Foundation years in MAKTAB!!! Man, I really missed that place. I so hope to go back there and finished all that we need to finish there. The lecturers are superb except certain ones. Can't particularly blame them but the rest was GREAT lecturers that I missed soooo much....

Ok... Enough of all the reminiscing of the past. PRESENT!!!! The present now is video viewing and also video, video, video.

Hence the video craze... I was watching something on facebook that I find it so awesome that I would love to share it here. The guy is superb... I love his voice!!! And he is good!!!!

Haha.. We were asked to come out with a video together with a partner. I was thinking what to do and when our ideas were rejected, we decided to change our story and look for something else to do. We finally did the a video like a tribute to Michael Jackson. But I would like to share a video about one korean actress that I super like.

Chaos.............

That is the one word I would use to describe the class today.... The reason was the mentioning of assignment deadlines that were forgotten by all of us. Hence, there were lots of commotion happening as all of us scuffle to get the right information and form groups and lots more. I agree that it was our fault because as students we need to be aware of the things that we are supposed to do and also not procrastinate. And I looked up in the Internet about procrastination and looked at what is said about procrastination!

That is what I learned today and also I learned how to be patient with other people. And I also learned the true meaning of friendship. Friends are ones that understand us and care for us compare to some selfish people who thinks about themselves only. 

Assignments due...

It was a day of handing in assignments. There are altogether three assignments to be handed in on that day. I was kinda panicking out too. The week before my new computer crashed and the audio that I did for the ebook was safe inside and I couldn't do anything to retrieve it. I was kinda lost as to what to do. I thought I can't do anything anymore and decided to just leave it as it is. But thanked GOd before that I uploaded up the audio files in the group's skydrive so I managed to retrieve it and burn it into the cd. So all through the whole class I got to download it and attached it to the ebook power point. Thanks to the lecturer who is so kind to let us finished up and do the final touch before handing in our assignments. So that was how it went on the day of handing in our assignments. =) IT was very chaotic and lots of my other friends were scolded because they did not do according to the instructions. But the lecturer was gracious enough to give them the time to do it.

So a reminder to myself is to listen and pay attention in class and do as what the lecturer tells you!

Things need to be done!!!!

AH.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are so many things to be done!!! There are so many tutorial to be done. Although i know I am learning new things but the amount of things to be done is like as high as the mountain.

Today, we learn about audio editing. Previously we learn how to use audiocity. It is a software to edit audio files. It is kinda easy to use the audiocity software.. So today is kinda learning the theory of audiocity. We learn about why we need to learn how to do edit audio files and the benefit of learning up this skill.

All in all there is a lot of things to do......

E-book

This is something we learned today. We were asked to explore making big books. There are lots of criteria in making good ebook. I've learnt that it is not easy and it is not something that can be done in a few minutes only. There are lots of little details that need to be looked at. My story is going to be about SHOPPING!!!

The title would be "LOLLY GOES SHOPPING!"
Th aim is to teach different types of food and groceries in the supermarket. And also the moral value which is--- BUY ONLY WHAT YOU NEED!!!!

I am thinking to explore animation and maybe draw the storyboard and scan it. =) I hope it turn out well..

New experience....

*RING!!!!* The sound of the fire alarm rang loudly as I reached the lift to go to class today. I was thinking whether is it a false alarm or a real one. I wanted to ignore it and go ahead to class but was stopped by a lab assistant saying there is a fire drill going on so I need to move to the parking lot. I was kind of hesitating because all my friends are upstairs. But I had no choice when the guy 'escorted' me out. I kept on calling my friends, scared that I will missed class again and get scolded by Pn Foziah. But they did not picked up their phone.

Overall the fire practice was fun. The firemen demonstrate to us how to use fire extinguisher. I was actually compelled to go up and try it but at last I chicken out and did not went up.

Today we had a sneek peek of what is photo editing. Pn. Foziah showed us lots of pictures and especially one caught my interest. The one about the editing of the guy and putting Ella and Wu Chun together. I was fascinated. And I now realize that we should not trust pictures so easily. Nowadays, technology is so advanced that it has it pros and cons. That is also one of the reason why we should not believe in pictures published by gossip magazine. How do we know whether the pictures are edited or not? Somehow I felt a sense of sympathy for the artist and famous people because they are constantly the victim of scandals which might not be true. Hence, I learn that I should use technology for the good and not for bad things.

Troubles after troubles....

Today had been a bad day. Why I would say troubles after troubles is that I forgot to confirm my registration again. GREAT!!!!!! Haiz....

After my Japanese class I ran off to meet Siti to go together with her to SKR to deal with all these troubles. In my heart I was praying Lord, please don't let them fined me RM50 per credit hour. That would cost me RM900!!!! So after I went there and the clerk at the counter say need to pay RM50 only. PHEW.... I was so relief.... But still being fined is not so fun and wasting RM50 is going make me fast for a few meals. I already had this KIND OF experience once and I promised myself not to do it again but IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!! IT SUCKS.. I would say. The thing is I am already frustrated already because this is an extra trouble and burder I would say and it is as if I don't already had enough troubles... I feel like I cant breath under all these pressures and expectations from people that they say they LOVE me. But what can I do, I cant say that I want to quit and drop the ball and refused to do anything at all. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE and it is soooo not me. I am tired... Stretched to the max....

Will I break down? I dont know. I need God's grace to get me through each day. Each day I feel like I am on the brink of breaking down, everyday my mind is constantly filled with things I should do and what people expect of me... I dont like it but what can I do.

Troubles after troubles.....

After fixing the registration thing I came back to class. Troubles are just everywhere. I offended my lecturer this time for going off to fix the thing without asking her. Another trouble added to my plate.

To Pn Foziah: (If you are reading this)

Firstly, I apologized that I did not informed you first. It is not that I dont care whether it was your class or not. It is just that I was so afraid that I was fined RM900. And you ask why I did not go at 8am, it is because the office does not open so early. And why not after your class, it is because it will be lunch time and I might not be able to do it. And I cannot do it during Science hour after 2pm is because I got simulated teaching. I do not mean to cause so much trouble. And please forgive me.

Yup, this is what I learnt today. I learnt how to do tutorials for searching items online. After learning this, it would be so easy to show people how to do something. You know learning tutorial can save us from a lot of conversations like this:

Me: You go to the google and then click on the button on the top left. There is the word called images and then you type what you need at the search box.

Little Brother: What? Where is the button? Click where? Cannot find la...

LOL.. That is how it was like talking over the phone trying to teach my little brother how to do certain things online. Since I am away from home, my little brother do not have anyone to teach him. By having the tutorial, I can send a microsoft file to him through email and he will be able to learn it by himself easily.

Why the title goes like 'WOW' is because before this I never knew the function of the print screen button. But now I do!!!

2nd class of PBEY3102

Today is a great day but going on for five hours of class until 1pm is not exactly an ideal way of studying for me. I have to remind myself to bring some snacks in my bag all the time if not the stomach will be growling when I am in the second class. But after a great Japanese class, I am pump up for the next class. =) I love being in lectures where we can used the computer. This is because UM has great land lines which means stable connection. Wonderful I would say. Streamyx at our house is not quite enough for eight of us. And it is only 1mbps. We wanted to apply for the 2mbps one but our house is not in the coverage area. So sickening!!!!! So I love it when I am in this class. I get to blog very fast and check mail too! Apart from that, my laptop is getting old already. So it is running very slow and it hang all the time. I dislike it so much. But there is not much I can do since I cannot afford to buy a new computer. So I am grateful for the time spent in this computer lab. =)

The first week of UNIVERSITY life.....

WOW.... I am LOST!!!! Lost in a city jungle of buildings!!! To make things worse, the first class wasn't very pleasant because the lecturer was very strict and not only that he started giving us tasks after another task. But life is more than that. Should tell myself not to dwell in it too long. =) Uni life here in PJ is better than that. Other classes are still enjoyable.

Today is going to be very pack. Last night had a rough night where everyone is rushing to finish the task given by the first lecturer. This morning I joined the lovely class---- JAPANESE CLASS!!! I thanked God I managed to get in to this class. I knew it was a miracle. =) So happy... But I was late for class cause I cannot find the classroom. When I finally found it, I was 10 mins late. Although the lecturer gave me a stern look but it would not deter me from enjoying the Japanese class. I love Japanese. I know Japanese language will be an important factor in my life in the future. Hope I do well in this class and I pray I will be someone who can really speak Japanese soon....
